GUWAHATI: Gunjan Sinha, a Guwahati-born eight-year-old girl from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 was named the competition's winner. Gunjan and Tejas Verma, another young dancer who was her partner, took home the trophy and a check for Rs 20 lakh.

On September 3, "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10" premiered, with 15 well-known candidates. The judges were dancer-actor Nora Fatehi, director Karan Johar, and Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit. Maniesh Paul, the show's host, who is also a comedian played an important role throughout the whole show.

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon from the cast of "Bhediya" attended the finals as star guests while the finalists performed their finest performances.

Salman Khan, who is presenting "Bigg Boss 16," had Madhuri act out a scene from their iconic film, "Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!," while Kriti and Madhuri danced together to the song "Badi Mushkil" from the movie "Lajja."

The top five participants, Rubina Dilaik, Faisal Shaikh, Nishant Bhat, Gunjan Sinha, and Sriti Jha, battled against one another Sriti and Nishant were eliminated after there was a double elimination. As a result, only the top three competitors, Gunjan, Faisal, and Rubina, remained in the competition. Gunjan was ultimately chosen as the winner by the judges.

Gunjan, who has taken part in other dancing reality series like "Dance Deewane Juniors," emphasised her delight and said: "The show has given me a lot to think about. I'll remember a lot of experiences and times. I was continually motivated to perform well by my partner Tejas Verma and the choreographer Sagar Bora."

"I learned a lot from the judges, and Madhuri ma'am has always been my dance inspiration," she continued. Gunjan added that she has loved dancing since she was five years old and that hip-hop has always been her favourite kind of dance. She now desires to pursue dance as a profession. "I want to be the finest dancer," she said.

"We plan to visit an adventure park, and I have told my parents that I want Elsa's house (from the movie Frozen) as a gift, Gunjan said, opening up about what she wants from her parents. " A few years earlier, they had promised to give it to me as a gift. But now that I'm asking for it, they are saying that I should be the one to give them something as a gift," Added Gunjan.
